Psalm 127:3-5 Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.
Matthew 19:14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children to come, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
Deuteronomy 6:6-9 And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
2 Timothy 3:14-15 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
The Children Ministry Department caters for children from 12 to 1 year of age. The Children Ministry Department purpose is to teach and up-bring children in the way of the Lord. From the given scriptures it clear that God desires the heart and soul of the children, that they be engraved and rooted in the teachings of the word of God and in all his ways.
In The Children Ministry Department, it is understood that every child is a unique and rare treasure and will therefore learn differently. So, a number of teaching styles has been developed that will bring clarity to such complexity.
Isaiah 54:13 All your children shall be taught by the LORD, and great shall be the peace of your children.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.
